With the significant uncertainty at the moment due to COVID-19, we want to make some reassurances to our clients.
As a client of SMH, you are our number one priority and we will do everything in our power to help you through the potentially difficult times ahead.

As a reminder we can:
1. If needed, liaise with HMRC to set up bespoke time to pay arrangements.
2. Talk with your bank and supply (by return) all information they may need to support you through this time.
3. Support your general finance function e.g. with cash flow forecasts etc
There will be further updates from SMH on the more mundane day to day matters, but we want highlight the above and also inform you of what we believe to be the most important Government policy announced in the Budget.
This policy may help the most in both the short and the long term:
“There is to be a new Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme. It will enable businesses to apply for a loan of up to £1.2 million, with the government covering up to 80% of any losses with no fees.”
So far no further information has been released, but as soon as we know, you will too.
Dependent on the finer details this could be the ultimate life line for the businesses affected by COVID-19.
